Train Rides at Lynnsport

at the Lynnsport Miniature Railway, Greenpark Avenue, King's Lynn

Railway to re-open Sunday 1st April 2012 at 12noon!

Free Easter eggs for all our passengers on Sunday 8th April to celebrate Easter (while stocks last!)

See you on the 1st! and hopefully other Sundays after that.

Thank you to everyone who supported us in 2011; we might not have broken any records this year but it was still a good show!

We have given in the region of 1,300 paid-for rides on Sundays; and a few special afternoons of rides for local children's charity and care groups during the week.

Maybe we should fit a mile-o-meter to one of the passenger trollies!!

Our annual Charity donation will be made to the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The Club gives 10% of ticket revenue to charity each year, details of previous nominated Charities can be found on the About page.

Railway constructed and operated by King's Lynn & District SME

Where to find us...

The Railway is situated alongside Lynnsport's main building, there are signboards up on Running days and a permenant Highways style brown sign on the lamp-post near the Staff Parking entrance.

By car

When approaching Lynnsport from Greenpark Avenue, shortly after entering the Lynnsport car park and passing the pond on the left, you should see an A board pointing to the Railway and the brown Miniature Railway sign on the lamp-post by the Service Area roadway. Park in the main car park and walk along the footpath by the A board, you can see the Railway about 80 yards away as you walk down.

On foot

If approaching from Greenpark Avenue, you will see the A boards as you get into the Lynnsport car park area, you can see the Railway along the path once you get to the board.

If you approach from the Salters Road - Frontway path, you will see signs once you get near the Lynnsport entrance and theShed skating area, you will need to head alongside the car park toward the main pond where you will see the second A board pointing the way to the Railway.

If you come along the path from Frontway bus stop to the Lynnsport car park, you will pass the Railway en-route.

Thank you to all who have come along and given your support to the Club and our nominated charity, we hope you enjoyed your ride!
