Where you can find us

Miniature Railway

Open Days At the Railway

You can come and see us at working parties or operating our Railway, there is normally a group of us at the Track on Wednesdays (10am through to about 5pm) and Sundays (from noon to about 5pm) throughout the year. See the Events page for details of forthcoming operating sessions.

Society Meetings

Club meetings will be held at in the Wembley Room at Lynnsport on the second Tuesday of each month, starting at 7.30pm and normally closing at around 9.30pm. See the Events page for details of forthcoming meetings and any guest speakers. We use The Wembley Room, which is upstairs (there is a lift available) and members tend to congregate in the bar area outside this room prior to meetings, so you'll find us there! Please tell the reception staff that you are coming to see us, they will let you through the turnstiles and give directions.

How to get here...

By road

Lynnsport is well signposted from the town's outskirts, so it is quite easy to find - just keep following the signs. The Railway is signposted from the Lynnsport car park - you will need to park in the normal parking area and walk the short distance down to the Railway; the path to the Railway runs beside the Staff and Services entrance, which you will see immediately on the left as you enter the car park.

Public Transport

Once in King's Lynn and at the bus station, look for Norfolk Green's NorthLynnToo! services,

Check out their website: NorthLynnToo!

FrontWay stop is the nearest to Lynnsport, and the main building can be seen from the bus stop, which is on a corner. Walking along the road following the bus as it departs, a footpath can be found 60 yards away on the left, it leads across the small river and around the football field and into the Lynnsport site, this path passes the Railway on its way. This walk will take about two minutes.

Yellow routes are footpaths, grey are roadways

Alternatively you stay on a few stops and get off at Columbia Way/GreenPark Avenue, and walk up GreenPark Avenue towards Lynnsport; but this is a slightly longer walk at 5 minutes but this route has a pavement for its entire length.

Trains

First Capital Connect operate trains from London to King's Lynn, via Cambridge and Ely. From the railway station, you can take a bus to King's Lynn bus station, and choose onward services from there.

Taxi's are also available at the railway station; most drivers should know where Lynnsport is!
